Business integration completed:
Aluminium Materials Technologies Ltd (“AMT”) now transferred to ECKART

  • AMT business operations transferred to ECKART on October 1st, 2021
  • The effect pigment producer, specialist in the production of powders, will supply full range of AMT products

Hartenstein, 25.08.2021 – Since June 2020, the British aluminium alloy powder producer for additive manufacturing, Aluminium Materials Technologies Ltd. ("AMT"), is owned by the ECKART Group.

The integration has now been completed; the entire AMT business operations will be transferred with effect from October 1st, 2021, with AMT shipments serviced by ECKART starting on September 1st, 2021.

ECKART will continue to supply the full range of AMT products, notably the established A20X powder for Additive Manufacturing and A205 alloy for foundries. The MMPDS aerospace approved A205 aluminium alloy is the world’s strongest commercially available aluminium castings and has been in full aerospace production since 2013.
