LASERSAFE®: A Laser Marking Pigment

LASERSAFE® achieves strong contrasts, high writing speeds and outstanding marker quality. Due to the high efficiency of LASERSAFE®, only a very low dosage is required to achieve high marking contrasts. The color of the polymer is not affected - even in combination with light colors.
LASERSAFE® 040 is heavy metal free and FDA & European food contact regulations compliant.

LASERSAFE® is available as a granulate and can be processed just as easily as a color masterbatch. The product is not a hazardous material. The range of applications for laser marking is broad: LASERSAFE® additives are used in coded and individualized plastic packaging. The individual marking of sealing caps, e. g. for raffles, is very popular. Laser marking is also used for tracking and tracing of shipments.

LASERSAFE® 040 is designed for marking of plastics which are inherently poor for laser marking such as polyolefins (HDPE, LDPE, PP) as well as for engineering plastics like PA, PET, PS, ABS, PC and also for PVC. In transparent polymers and light colors it shows its strength.

The main application is marking of beverage caps and seals. Due to its compact pellet form it is easy to use, can be handled and processed very easily.
