MASTERSAFE SYMIC Sahara Blue surprises with its unique interference flop, which oscillates from softly shimmering rosé with a beige undertone to a sky-blue interference reflection.
In flat viewing angles the beige-rose hue dominates while the blue shimmer becomes most evident near gloss angle. The extreme flop in plastic applications is exceptional.
MASTERSAFE SYMIC is a de-dusted pigment preparation of the SYMIC pearlescent pigments. The compacted pellet has a reduced bulk density compared to the corresponding pigment powder.
Typical applications are plastic parts in car interiors, household items, electrical devices such as tablets or computers, cosmetic packaging, etc.
MASTERSAFE SYMIC can easily be used in many plastic processes such as extrusion, injection moulding, blow moulding, blown film or cast film extrusion.
Due to the delivery form as pellets, these products can be used directly during the colour concentrate production without any problems and allow a dust- and solvent-free production process.
The pigment content of MASTERSAFE SYMIC is 70%.
MASTERSAFE SYMIC Sahara Blue is suitable for polyolefins like LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE, PP etc. and engineering resins.
